Cultivating A Growth Mindset “Becoming a Lifelong Learner”

A growth mindset — seeing skills as things that can be improved with effort – has a remarkable impact on performance and learning. Success in today’s marketplace depends on taking strategic risks, on having a vision and ideas for achieving growth. This requires a certain mindset, and, in this module you’ll be introduced to the tools needed to cultivate a growth mindset.
Through this experiential program, organisations can instill the tools and skills for cultivating a Growth Mindset. With just a change in mindset, employees can become more engaged, more primed to spot opportunities and more resilient in the face of change.
In this experiential session, you’ll complete a CORE™ Growth Assessment which will give you insight into the eight dimensions of Growth Mindset which are categorized into How I think, What I do, and Who I engage. Once you take the assessment you will have an accurate view of where you find yourself along the Growth Mindset continuum from fixed mindset to high growth mindset for each of the eight dimensions. The assessment provides you with greater self-awareness along with practical tools to further move you along each of the eight dimensions. This session provides deep insight into your current thinking as well as practical tools and strategies to shift your behaviors into growth mode.

- Gain skill on leveraging growth, your strengths and determine which areas to focus on for development
- Determine the shift needed to cultivate a growth mindset
- Understand the connection between growth mindset and the brain
- Explore fixed and growth mindset behaviors in organizations
- Uncover your own areas of a fixed mindset and your zone of comfort
- Apply tools & strategies to further develop your growth mindset

- Action plan for cultivating a growth mindset linked to a current development goal
- Identify what it is in your comfort zone, stretch zone and fear zone
- Define one area in your stretch zone that you would like to move into your comfort zone
