Rufaro is a seasoned business leader with over 20 years of experience with several global organizations and sectors. Her expertise includes banking & financial services, socio-economic development, executive search, impact investment, strategy, human capital development, consulting and advisory. She has also lived and worked in multiple countries, cultural settings across several continents.
She sits as a non-executive director on a listed FMCG company, a listed diversified Agribusiness and a specialist Fiduciary Financial Services company in addition to serving as a volunteer Trustee and Board member on a number of not for profits in the women empowerment and conservation and environmental restoration space.
Rufaro is passionate about developing people and the leader within. She has trained & coached leaders and leadership teams through change/ business transitions, in dealing with group dynamics, use of self, and resilience in turbulent and crisis environments. She combines a coaching style of active listening, powerful enquiry and facilitating productive exchange.
She holds both a Specialized Masters’ [MSc] in Coaching & Change Leadership from HEC Paris & Oxford SAID Business Schools and a Masters’ in Development Finance from Stellenbosch Business School and is also a qualified Chartered Accountant. She also holds a Certificate in Impact Investing from Oxford SAID Business School.
Rufaro is also a certified executive coach with Bailey Balfour Singapore, a systemic team coach (Peter Hawkins 5 Disciplines Model for Team Coaching), an accredited member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and a certified Assessor and Coach for CORETM.
