Christina combines her 15+ years of coaching experience with 20 years of managerial experience in the professional services industry (as business unit director, CEO, founder, partner), and 10+ years as a board member and chair in organizations of different kinds (five public, several private and family-owned companies, foundations and NGOs). During her 20 years as a consultant, Christina has worked with dozens of companies from all sectors to develop leadership, strategy, culture and governance.
Originally a Ph.D in marketing and customer loyalty, a key interest during Christina’s career in both managerial, consultative and board roles has been to understand, influence, manage and measure human behavior in organizations, be it as customers or employees. She has a holistic view of humans, and believes all good leadership starts with self-leadership and optimized health and wellbeing. Her first coaching experience is from the 1990’s, when she trained as a junior golf coach, and grew her club’s pool of active girl juniors to become Finland’s largest.
Christina works with individual leadership as well as management team coaching and development initiatives. She combines her coaching work with the part-time roles of Professor of Practice at Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki (department of management and organization), and several board and nomination committee positions.
Christina works fluently in English, Swedish and Finnish, and understands basic Nordic languages, French and Spanish.
Christina holds a Ph.D. in marketing from Hanken School of Economics, trained as a business coach in 2008 and gained a certification for board work in 2012. She is certified to conduct Workplace Big 5 personality, team and 360 profiles, eQi emotional intelligence profiles, Maaslach Burnout inventory assessments. She also facilitates the Change Pro change simulation, widely used in some of the world’s leading business schools. In her coaching projects, she frequently designs tailored assessments and conducts in-depth observations of management team collaboration.
